Adding a Personal Touch: How the Interests of Three Classmates are Raising the Bar for Reunion45

Putting a reunion event together isn’t just about picking up the phone and calling a caterer. Sometimes it means taking what you know and offering it to others to create new and exciting opportunities on the reunion schedule.

For years he’s hiked Oahu’s trails. At our 40th reunion he took classmates on three popular reunion hikes.

Reunion survey results showed that you wanted to go on hikes at our 45th and Bruce has agreed to again lead the treks. In fact, he has added an additional hike to the schedule!

If you’d like to add a little “outdoor” to your 45th reunion be sure to check his “Go Take a Hike” treks to discover Aiea Loop Trail, Kuliouou Ridge Trail, Lulumahu Falls Trail, and Makapuu Point Lighthouse Trail. Enrollment is open so the more the merrier–even if you don’t have a dachshund.

Building upon an idea that was used for both Punahou School’s 175th and Wo Center 25th anniversaries, a fun surprise was on display when I arrived on the Punahou School campus on June 8.

Time to Get the Punahou74 Party Started?

With the rollout of Punahou School’s Alumni Week 2017, reunion 2019 is nudging its way on to the edge of Punahou74’s consciousness. In one year the reunion countdown will begin. Good to know that Punahou74 is still strong … and still celebrating together.

Alumni Week’s Thursday night is an “Alumni Celebration.” It’s open to all alumni (+ friends and family) and offers good food, good music, and good times.

While it’s an alumni party, most of the attendees tend to be from reunion classes. And that’s something that Punahou74 will wait another two years to experience.

But this doesn’t stop the great Punahou School class of 1974.
