Stepping off the Honolulu International Center stage oh so long ago, members of the Punahou School Class of 1974 clutched their diplomas, donned their lei, and emerged from their shared youthful experience to the world as young adults. For some, it had been a journey of thirteen years; for all, it had been a time of growth, of preparing for the future. Now it was time to reap the promise and opportunity that lay before them.
A lot has happened since that balmy June evening. Class members are now located throughout the state of Hawaii, throughout the country, throughout the world. We have never been so far apart but, paradoxically, it has never been so easy to keep in touch.
The Punahou Class of 74’s Blog was created to keep members of this great class in touch with one another. It has the latest news about your classmates and what they are doing. It’s also a way to learn about today’s Punahou and what’s happening on campus. Of course, there’s also space for sharing the memories of long ago, space for keeping our personal history alive.
So come on back!
Often!
Please let me know what can be done to improve what’s here and I’ll do my best to make the appropriate changes.
Mahalo,
