Gaye Miyasaki is not just a Punahou74 party planner par excellence, she’s also a Punahou74 PR whiz too.
The January 7 Punahou74 volunteer effort at the Lanakila Multipurpose Center received press coverage in the current issue (June/July) of Generations Magazine.
Generations Magazine calls itself “Hawaii’s Resource for Life.” The magazine provides seniors and their families important resource information on various issues facing our mature community, including topics such as healthcare, finances, legal matters, fitness, nutrition and caregiving.
Today, 35 thousand copies of Generations Magazine are provided bimonthly free of charge, and distributed in over 250 locations throughout the Hawaiian Islands. If you don’t live in Hawaii it’s also available by clicking here or through the Generations website.
The volunteer effort also received notice on the Punahou 175 Acts of Service Web Page. Significantly, we are one of the few non-student efforts noted on the page.
Good job, Gaye!
