For those of you who couldn’t attend reunion, here’s a note from Gaye bringing you up to date about what she’s doing. She also sent along a reunion slideshow that’s well worth watching. Set to Brian’s Song (do you remember singing that song at graduation?), it really brings back that “hands of time feeling.” Thank you, Gaye, for sharing both your pictures and your creativity with us.
I was able to attend all four reunion functions and did so to take photos for this photo slideshow presentation. I actually made a longer one, but it did not fit the blog so I shortened it. Sorry Renee Ahuna Cabrinha–I spelled your name wrong in the slideshow and cannot fix it!
I am currently living in Honolulu, single and living in my high school house with my mom. My dad passed on a few years ago and my sister, Nola (Class of ’76) is helping to run the entrepreneurship department at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater. I work at the Hawaii State Legislature for Representative Barbara Marumoto as one of her legislative aides. It’s fun, never a dull moment!
If you would like to contact me, my e-mail address is: firstname.lastname@example.org Note the underscore mark after “gaye”.
It was great seeing everyone again. Those of us who live here in Hawaii should get together once in a while and not just every five years!
